im thinking of starting machine plastering now there was a guy who asked this question through the week and he was strung up by the balls by you lot but he was from afganastan or sumthing so good on you but what is the best system and rough costs thanks paul

depends on what your planning to do as in are you going to do all internal or all external or a bit of both and what kind of work do you do is it all site work or is it mainly domestic, it just give us a better idea as to what machine would suit you best , also whereabouts are you based , let us now and we can be a bit more precise on prices

sorry dude i dont do any site work it would probs be for outside mostly but would be nice to no it works inside too so probs a 2nd hand machine to start with i do alot of k-rend in south scotland thanks paul

you could go with either a G4/5 a monojet or a minijet these are all 3 phase machines they'll spray krend and hardwall plus loads of other stuff but they won't spray multi finish , but you would need a 3 phase genny, or you could go with a 240v ritmo and you can do all of the above and set it up to spray multi and you can plug it straight into household mains, get in touch with PFT scotland theyll be your best bet , in the mean time i'l see what second hand deals we got at the moment and let you know

thanks alot its not true what they say about you ;)how many guys would you need to use these ?? the 240v sounds good .thanks paul

if you bought a 110v ritmo do you just plug it into a 3.3kva transformer and can you spray finish with it?

theres a pft monojet 2.13 nearby will it spray k-rend they want 1800 does this sound ok ??? ??? ???

no spunky you'll need a bigger transformer then that yes the 110v will spray multi but not mono, yeah the monojet will spray krend but it needs to be e-grade krend 1800 is a good price but you'll need to get a genny for it and they need to be at least 12.5 kva , is that the monojet thats on ebay

the only machine that will spray the lot is the ritmo 240v, and that can plug straight into household mains, but it can only pump 15m, they cost 8400 inc vat

there portable though arent they ???.........how would you get around the 240 thing on site mate

how often does a decent 2nd hand one come up monkeyboy, and what would you expect to pay for one?

ritmo's don't tend to come up as often , on site then personally i'd say get a decent generater about a 7 kva would be strong enough and providing you use the blue 240v plugs then you shouldn't have a problem, it's a tough call spunky on whats the best machine it's more a case of whats best for you, the most versatile is without doubt the ritmo for me though a G4/5 or even a monojet (i use a G4 though) is better due to the amount of rendering i do , if i done loads of skimming or acrylics then i'd definatly get a ritmo, their all very good machines but it basically comes down to deciding which one would suit you best and if your interested then ring us up and we'll have a chat about it and advise you on which one would be best suited for your needs

.........YES IT WAS THAT MACHINE OFF EBAY NOT MUCH GOOD TO ME IF IT ONLY PUMPS E GRADE THOUGH MOST OF MY FINISHES IS SCRAPED FT /WP IS THERE ANY GOOD 2ND HAND STOCKISTS??????........

none of the machines diesal or electric will spray FT or WP but a lot of buliders don't have a problem with switching to silicone e-grade it's only if a colours not available in e-grade that they may not switch there isn't anybody who deals in just second hand machines they all come through PFT dealers,

............THE MACHINE ON EBAY SAYS IT WONT SPRAY KREND BUT YOU SAY IT CAN IF ITS E- GRADE IS THIS CORRECT JUST WANT TO BE SURE DONT WANT TO BE STUCK WITH SOMTHING I CANT USE THANKS PAUL

The 240 mono has,nt got the balls to pump render you need a 3 phase the 3.35. I had a nightmare trying to spray e grade with a D6-3.

No, if you want a monojet get the 3.35, 415v it does the same as the 240v and more. Just my opinion though

THE ONLY REASON I WAS GOING FOR IT WAS IT IS CHEAP I WONT BE USING IT 24/7 JUST THE ODD RENDERING JOB IM NEW TO THE MACHINE SIDE SO NEED A LITTLE GUIDENCE

sorry didn't realise the monjet on ebay was 240v, the 3 phase will spray silicone e-grade krend all you need to do is change the rotor and stator to a d4-2 it's a softer rotor so it's easier for thr machine to start , and the material comes out nice and creamy,

SO CAN YOU JUST CONFIRM THE 1 ON EBAY WILL DO THE JOB AND WHAT COST IS INVOLVED IN CHANGE OVER STARTER ETC THANKS PAUL

No the 240v isn't strong enough to spray krend it needs to be a 3 phase machine (415v) set up with a D4-2 rotor and stator , not sure on the price for a D4-2 but you need to replace the rotors and stators anyway (how often depends on how you run the machine i:e water settings and back pressure and also depending on what material your using) the only thing you will need to buy is a clamp which is about 60 quid

thanks for your help on this southernmonkey do you no or do you have any 2nd hand machines that would spray k-rend.ill send you my number thanks paul

anybody ever used the utiform quattro if so how does it perform and will this pump krend thanks paul
