stilts and DVT's

Helping a mate this morning , poor **** got a DVT the only thing he can put it down too is His stilts having the straps to tight and spending a lot of time of late skimming ceilings. The clot is just below the knee. Hmm makes you think not sure I think it is the stilts but who is to say.

It's a blood clot, deep vein thrombosis.

What causes them?

I thought that was caused by flying?

Can be caused by the restriction of blood flow from the stilts. My mrs is an ITU nurse and she reckons its a possibility for sure.

i thought dvt was somet lazy fat fooks got........ for being fat and lazy...........glad i dont need stilts either
