done a 90sq metre ceiling in 6mm stolit k on fri had to use sponge float to apply as no chance with steel trowel anyone got any other ideas on how to apply 6mm on ceilings

what grain size was it , it comes in a grain size starting from 1.0mm to 6.0mm, you can use a gravity fed hopper gun ......either way on a celing it's gonna get messy mate

I hate using sto.... such a messy boring job.

I usually apply with a 11inch stainless trowel but im sure you can roller it on !!??

I have used most of the systems and if done well look great and if you are the main contractor for the job you can make excellent money.

The problem is that all the sto jobs here in Plymouth are huge so only the big boys get the work who have the men on board and most of them do a s**t job.

They have some right weird systems, last year I was working on a sto job where were were sticking rockwool bats to the exterior of the building using a special adhesive like dot and dabbing but on the outside, then basecoat and mesh then final coat ....
