Stone wall plastering help

I'm hoping some one can help.
I hav
e to plaster an old stone internal wall
Not sure how to do this. He was going to turn it into a feature wall but changed his mind
Customer was hoping it could be done with hardwall.
Any advice welcome

I wouldn't use any gypsum plaster on that.

going to have to be lime based plaster.

Whats on it originally?
I'd use limelite , or limegreen duro, as base coats

As not done any lime work before

The fact you're asking means you've got 2 options. Tell them it should be done with lime and you don't know how to do it so find someone else, or batten and board it.
Or option 3, bodge it and hope for the best
