Stripes in plaster

Hi Could somebody explain these marks pls my plasterer is saying it’s the wall and he can’t do it any better. He’s been plastering for 8years. The ceiling is worse will get pics

You could start by asking him if he's recently bought a new flexi-trowel.

Some people just shouldn’t plaster , a guy doing it a few years can do a great job , a guy doing it 25 plus can be bad , some people under price and try rush through it , sometimes the light isn’t good and they don’t see it , as I said @superspread uses a large 110v sander and easi fill from make good , talk to him

Maybe but I did this to a wall in my own living room, in my first house, using just standard mt and the b*****d light shone down it from the window above the front door and it drove me crackers! ... not enough to redo it like though!

That was crappy paint, pva hanging and impatience lol.
