subbies day rate?

morning all. far too cold to work.. spot board frozen and so was the tap. and to top it off the windows aren't in on the job i'm suppose to be on. just polythene ??? just wanted to see if any of you use subbies and if so what a going day rate would be. thanks for any replies. claw75

What would be interesting for this topic is if people post their location also?

From North Kent area for firm I am subbing to at the mo: £100 per day. But we don't really want £100 a day so only do day work when the job is a pig and impossible to earn your money on price. But saying that the price per m2 is very poor for both float and set & board work at the moment. We are knocking our b*ll***s out every day and not doing too bad. So hopefully will be rolling in it when things perk up. Snowed off today, like a blizzard snow flakes like 50p pieces got there but did'nt want to get stuck on job so left.

anywhere from £80 -£150 ive seen offered we get £120 from the firm we are subbing to at the min but its mainly price work

if they offer you sub 100/day try for more as all the firms across the board prob have around 100 in their heads if they offer you asy 110 120 at the mo I would take it happy, anything more is a bonus. location aint that important now there is very much an even pricing structure in this recession, in good times you get bigger margines where locations are concerned

We getin 150 aday wen we get day work but most of it is on a price. 120 has been the lowest and a guy called strachen wus givin us 200 on a job in scotland
