suspended ceiling to low

Saw a job today small bathroom with part or ceiling sloping where roof is. Customer wants suspended ceiling..worked out new ceiling height would be apprx 2.2 metres is that 2 low? are there building regs for ceiling height?

Also say he wants it overboarded instead can those sloped ceilings be overboarded?...how do you plasterboard the curve?

Then it's gotta be 2 metres minimum hasn't it?
 
Regs changed a few years ago no minimum ceiling height unless they have changed it again
