Tanking Knauf Aquapanel Cement Board

I'm considering installing Knauf Aquapanel 'Cement Board' in a separate shower area in the bathroom as well as the walls around the bath. Can I use a 'Tanking' application with this product?
Having looked at knauf's (Aquapanel) online brochure regarding installation, there is no mention of using such product in a shower area to be (obviously) tiled!

It is your lucky day - I am one of the UK's Aquapanel Experts from Knauf.... LOL

Yes, you can use a tanking product onto Knauf Aquapanel Interior.

It is designed to be used as a tile backer, but you can tank it without any problems..... if you are going to tank the board, and then tile them, make sure the tile adhesive is compatible with the tanking medium.
