Tape and Joint Repair?

Im doin up a house that is done with that carppy tape and joint, keep finding areas were it has come away.

iv taken the tape out and have tryed to apply the tape with sum premixed join compund.. i find it all sags? so i took it out and used skrim and then put the joint compound in,and will top up to moro..

any tips on this stuff?

pre mixed joint compound, in a yellow an white tub? greyish color? if so this is for final coat mate will be ok to go over your skim with tho. try easy fill 45 next time get two coats on then sand the next day or if the heatings on full blast u might get away sanding it last thing before u go home

this is the Knuf stuff from travis red tub blue white tub? easy sand.. use it for a light filler normaly.. cuz it sands down so well.

yeah think its similar to gypsum joint cement its no good for filling out anything deep

ok thanks, i have sum powder B and Q stuff 2, never used it.. blue hork or sumit like that
