I got a radio last xmas like a yr a go ..... Makita dab white one , this year me dad joined and got a milwalkee drill 12v , i spent 13 pound there last year and that was just as a sweetner lol
 
The lad was like do you want to buy anything to get the ball rolling I just smiled and said nope. Picked my radio up and walked out.
 
Nope. Yeah ill have a kitchen off you. And doors. Always being asked about kitchens by customers me. Now give me my radio and fucck off
 
I tried to get the radio last Yr and they told me I had to spend the equivalent of whate radio cost to get it for free
 
I've got Hitachi tools so no makita batteries. My mate got a Milwalkee drill from them, buying nothing either. I went in my local branch, they offered me the radio, i said no. Rang up Howdens head office and complained I wanted the drill. They said leave it with us, week later I got call saying your radio AND drill are ready for collection.
Getting all me customers to sign up now and splitting it 50/50 with them for sharing the info :RpS_thumbsup:
 
Sheffield Insulation got anoffer on plaster of Paris casting etc if you buy 5 bags you get 50% of your next 20 bags. You have to sign up for their loyalty card first and order in advance as not in normal stock but no discount on boards, insulation etc . Think they're trying to broaden their customer base :RpS_thumbup:
 
I use Wickes most for my gear to be fair, I find they have everything in stock and are cheaper than Selco ( normally). It's only a cash a/c, but Jurek just told me if I open a trade cash a/c you get a further 10% off after the 1st month so will deffo be looking into it
