just wanted to say thanks,
i started plastering back in april and since then ive been on here nearly every day since, asking questions and learning the tricks of the trade. i started off as a decorator and still do the decorating. but when i was at work, i saw other plasters working and i thought to myself i want to do that.
i think now that ive got the whole idea of being plastering, tring to get the finish as flat, level, straight as possible. also i use my straight edge alot more now, than before. i get a really buzz when ive finished a job.
i' ve learnt so much from the forum, and just want to say thank to

what a polite young man! good luck to ya mate, you've gotta remember others learn a thing or two from the questions you ask as well, i have any way ;)

nice one mate, same applies to me though... ive prolly learnt more in the time ive been on here than all the years ive been waving a trowel at the wall... well, with regard to plastering theory anyway...
and its all down to the questions being asked, cos even if i aint askin that often, when someone else does it leads you to question yourself to come up with an answer so its an ongoing self improvement thing...
keeps it all fresh in the mind :)

Good on you TA glad to hear your making a go of it, you'll go a long way you've got the right attitude, nice to know i can help, i love this trade i still find it interesting after 20 odd years, dont be afraid to ask anything its the only way you will find out, Im still learning new stuff myself ;) ;)
