What it was, i done roughcast hit today front elevation 40m2 and it was a powerwall adhesive and mesh over stripped back (to thermalite) roughcast, the adhesive and mesh was put on over twoi yrs ago nad the guy who done it done a runner and was never heard from again so i reluctantly took the job on to finish it (big mistake), hosed it down yesterday and again this morn then used a fungicidal wash on it, set up and started coating along top had three hawkfulls on the wall and the first was going in like a rocket. Feckin nightmare start to finish more or less had to coat so much then hit it even after wetting down again, anyways got job done down to ground level then a patch decides to blow below the window:-0 dealt with that and tidied up jobs looks ok but im panicking now incase anymore blows, i told the guy who was wanting it done before hand that i cant gaurantee it because the basecoat was on so long and pumped my price up to try and scare him off however he took it and paid in cash so im really hoping this doesnt bite me again in the arse:RpS_biggrin:

Roughcasting buddy, to make matters worse it was powerwalls tudor chip which is round with bugger all sharp in it so bouncy bouncy:RpS_biggrin:

as said above microgobetis is great for thermos we give them 2 coats and bash on when dry, done a whole house last month and was spot on

JEES mate you must have struggled like F***.

Going over historical jobs un finished is always such gamble. We never give garuntees, give the options/costs . but as always money talks.
One to put in the experience book though.

Priced a render job up the other day where the builders bricky had done the scratch coat ,, What a bloody mess. he wasnt to happy when I said it all had to come off as could not garauntee its integrity.

This is what i would have done if it had not been first coated already or could i still have used it on top of a powerwall adhesive coat which was drier than a mujahideens ammo pouch could have hosed it all day

Yeah told the guy i couldnt gaurantee it as it had been first coated already albeit with powerwall adhesive, the top coat he was wanting us to use had been in his shed for 2 yrs so effectivley he had 20 bags of concrete:RpS_biggrin:

Muggles know nothing, anyways will go and do a drive by tomorrow to make sure it isnt lying on the deck in sheets:RpS_biggrin:
