They only sell 15mm beads

Picked up 4 12mm stop beads in jewsons today,he asked " are these 20mm ,I said no, the are 12mm, he said we only sell15mm, he asked his manager and the agreed the only sell 15mm in these, I said fine but how come the are narrower than the 13mm metal beads,he shrugged, definitely 15 mm, I measured them later 12mm was the closest measure , funny how wrong confident people can be..

Its the beads mate. This is a major head fk of mine. You get beads packaged up as 10 to 15 or 15 to 18 or 8 to 10
The box he has prob says 15mm stop on it.

Ever buy renderplas 15mm corner and measure the wing to the inside back of the plastic corner and its easy 17/18 mm it winds me up summit rotten

Jewsons are great I once asked for 3mm stop beads on a load to be delivered when it turned up they were 13 mm stops and when I took them back I had to explain why I couldn't use them as the bloke behind the counter asked if I couldn't put it on a bit thicker haha I've had it with most merchants so if i need stops now I fetch them myself

Yep, jewson round my way are the most useless, uneducated fukcers I have ever came across, they don't even stock plastic beads, been gettin them from sas since 2002, even my local keyline have them in stock ( nasty beads ) but better than nowt for wee jobs..
I can order stuff online and it can get to me from say Sussex in 48 hrs, but go to jewson and it takes upto 2 weeks to get something from glasgow!! *****, feckin hate them!!!

I was in wickes last week, no board finish and I went especially to get it, I like to have the choice

All merchants should have plastic beads on the shelf these days, I keep telling my local TP but do they listen, no do they fxxk, they just say I always want specialist stuff no one else wants.
