Going to go over some painted render and the paint is well stuck before any one says take it off I know it's for a builder an I've told him it needs to come off anyway he wanted krend over the top an I said no chance
So I've suggested a thin coat system meshed an pinned the question is would it be wise to do an sbr slurry over the paint before we coat up or any other suggestions thanks

Parinter from Parex is made for this application and be used as a Basecoat for acrylic or Monorex all depending on the condition of the background. It's fairly straight forward but I would seek the advice of your local Parex rep for more details.

Hi pal I'm in manchester don't know where to get any pared from whether by system is what we've suggested cos it's only up the road for mats might have to give them a ring

Yep Painter should do. You need to do a hammer test and jet wash.
If the painted coating is sound then your good to go.
Don't think its advisable over elastomeric coatings such as hi build tho.

Other options would be a hpx pins spec

Lay it with mesh

Could it be still krend if going for the hpx pinned meshed routine I would have thought it would be to heavy
Also could you put 1.5mm topping over the hpx if it was smooth enough cheers

Painter is used as a base scratched with a comb to receive a monorex top coat so its the same ish. Painter and hpx can be smoothed for a 1.5mm thin coat finish bit painter maybe the better for finishing flat to do this.

5mm coat with mesh troweled flat
