I am building a timber frame garden room at the moment.because I didn't fix osb on the external walls of the build,I have now fixed 12mm osb boards internal instead so to give the build more stability.i want to now put multi foil Insulation on the walls.can I put this directly onto the osb or do I need to form a cavity first.i intend to battern after the insulation and plasterboard anyway.so does the insulation need to have a gap either side?
