went to look at a job todayfor a builder(allegedly) and he had done his own boarding studded walls were ok but d+d walls ive never in my life seen as much adhesive on the face of the boards in my life still no prob will get over it.anyway they were d+ding the stairwell wall half of it was done and not very straight so they have been using a 4inch taping knife to try and fill hollows what a mess.he starts telling me how he doesnt like d+d likes a solid job but he cant do that himself so(r u ready for this)he takes his 4 inch taping knife and plasters the brickwork with adhesive then sticks the board to that this is honest and on refurb old buildings with plaster knocked off so you can imagine what the walls were like to try and spread adhesive on ,he cant stand the hollow sound of d+d when i asked him what does he do on studded walls he just looked blank
