thistle bond it replacement..

hi everyone, i used thistle bond it a few years ago to skim over tiles on Blackpool Victoria hospital. I was wondering if you can make the same kind of thing out of sbr, sand and cement and weather it would work? the customer doesnt want to take off the tiles in his kitchen.. please can anybody help?

i was looking for a cheaper option for him as he's a good friend of mine, is it about £40 for 10 liters of bond it still? thanks for the reply :rolleyes)

sbr is twenty notes get some plasprime it's cheaper.

Yes it will, ive SBRd over tiles with no sand but mesh in my own house no probs.

can you "dash" sharp sand into uni bond. or will it peel off.

2 parts sharp sand 1 part jizz, works a treat Ian, i never had it peel off yet

got a wickes nearby if you have they sell wickes bonding agent its the same a thistle bondit but cheaper
