That's beyond your skills.Might try out a bag next week on an alcove cabinet!
You’ve got to flatten it soon as it on. Or it all goes tits up. I did a small ceiling 1/2 bag. Turned out perfect. 1 hour.Did same to me tbf...its not the time as such more that it flashes in about 5mins from normal to set with no warning
I had some small areas to block out. I added a sachet of half time to half a bag of bonding. Carried the bucket through to next room and it was solid! LolYou should of added extra time to the mix?
I did 4 boards yesterday . Went over it with same mix as its behind kitchenYou’ve got to flatten it soon as it on. Or it all goes tits up. I did a small ceiling 1/2 bag. Turned out perfect. 1 hour.
Be interesting to see if it's still on walls by winter lolUsed around ten bags now and not sure about two coats with same mix, better on boards but not on grit. Good consistent setting times, be interesting to see how it goes in winter.
It’ll still go off like a 2 Bob rocketUsed around ten bags now and not sure about two coats with same mix, better on boards but not on grit. Good consistent setting times, be interesting to see how it goes in winter.

Yes, not mixing too wet as i want to fill out beads and scrim. When i used unifinish which i think this is similar i could knock up any left over mix in bucket and it would second coat perfect. Obviously we cant with this stuff, im happy to mix a second fresh batch and its still gonna be faster setting than board or multi. Are you flattening off between coats?
Great on couple of bimoards didnt like pva i foundUsed around ten bags now and not sure about two coats with same mix, better on boards but not on grit. Good consistent setting times, be interesting to see how it goes in winter.
Not tried it with pva, was your pva dried or tacky when apllied?Great on couple of bimoards didnt like pva i found
If you do use a fresh mix for the 2nd coat, make sure the 1st is really flat. Any trowel lines will grin through to the 2nd and you can’t trowel them out. Also you’ve got to be sharp and make sure the 1st doesn’t set before you get the 2nd onYes, not mixing too wet as i want to fill out beads and scrim. It was tested on approximately 8 types of pva and none of the tester’s had any issues on tacky pvaNot tried it with pva, was your pva dried or tacky when apllied?
Are there any ingredients from unifinish in the fast set?It was tested on approximately 8 types of pva and none of the tester’s had any issues on tacky pva
No, it’s got polymers in to make sure it adheres properly to the substrates when they found out the additives didn‘tAre there any ingredients from unifinish in the fast set?
My memories not that good. I chose own brands as well as more expensive ones to get a good cross section and the ones on the trial brought the ones in they normally use as well.could you list the 8 types of pva ?
No good for me then,….you’ve got to be sharp and make sure the 1st doesn’t set before you get the 2nd on
