nah don't use a roller, you want one of those cheap water mister pumps, like that you water plants with. once pressurised it will give you an even coat, not only that it will stop it going everywhere such as windows and the like and also it will go a lot further than using a roller.
 
Do all you render lads seal your jobs when using mono??

No if the client wants it and can afford then you do. If not you don't.

Most I find take a chance on the basis of surely if big manufacturers have a stand alone product on the market it must stand up itself for a reasonable period without the need for sealer. Many will wonder what's the point if has to be sealed afterwards.

A small few like the idea and pay the extra. What we don't know is how long it actually lasts. We all know the silicone in krend breaks down after a couple of years and so how long before the lotus clean sealers lose their effect. How many years extra are they actually buying for their cash....
 
10 year on aquaguard as the mono for parex,
I go the other way and seal most of ours, I cost it in and explain the additional cost. particularly if the jobs near a main road or has a stack. nothing worse than seeing staining off copings etc run down your bl10.
