Just dpc a room 14, x 14, useing cream injection. All I have left to do is make good around the skirting. I dont think it was damp but the guy had one of them silly meters and got a reading in places around the room. This guy was a top chemist at BP, and because of this he thinks knows more then me about damp problems, so game on.
He next ask me for a price to re skim this the room. I told him £250 breakdown plasprime £30 plaster £20 plus 4 beads £6= £58 £192 labour . So he says I think will wallpaper and knocks me back.
But here is the best bit am gettin £100 for make good around the skirting and filling a couple of cracks in the coving and am not tacking the skirting back on. So £150 was the tipping point for him. This guy has about 30 rented houses
around town. I suppose that's how you hang onto your brass.
