time bewteen coats skimming

hi just wondering how should the skim feel between coata exactly thanks

Welcome to the forum.

For a beginner, I would suggest you lay on your first coat, wait for it to firm up a little and then flatten this coat. Then mix up the second coat slightly wetter and lay it on. Good luck
