..... on the forum as it's getting a little tense I feel obliged to mention that it's midnight here and 24 degrees C.

I'm feeling a little bilious tbh.

This evening I have consumed 4 mojitos, 3 pina coladas, a grape collins (not sure wtf that was tbh) a vanilla milkshake with baileys in it, something unpronounceable, 2 lattes, a plate of shrimp, bruschetta, fava, tsatsiki, pitta bread and some local beer.

There has been a lot of cream/milk consumed, but I've only seen one cow on the island?o_O

It may be cat milk, there are a fair few of those about. :tarjetaroja:

This hot weather malarky is OK, but trying to sleep in it is a proper t**t.

The wind's getting up a bit now, but I think that may be the foreign food. I ate something with leaves in it at lunch time, I guess it's one of those strange foreign dishes. I think it was called a 'salad' o_O

The scenery is awesome... yesterday was the first proper day of it being awesome :-) we enjoy all out holidays just this one did not live up to what we expected... but I think the next 7 days is going to be epic...

Doing the rest of the stelvio pass today which is going to be fun as last night it was really wet and slippery as hell...

To lighten the mood ....

Quite nice morning here :)

If you don't mind me asking how much for you and the wife is the hole trip cost. Including food drink petrol hotel's.

I just need to say, as a warning to alll my fellow tradesmen, if the stuff they bring you can bE set alight and burns with a blue flame, do NOT drink it.

I feel splendid, my good lady wifE is somewhat the worse for wear. The waitress wants me |(in a biblical sEnse) and I'm inclined to acquiesce. However, should I do so is there room at your place @Nisus ?

All things considered, pretty good. (y) I have regained my sight, I'm not getting divorced. I did have to shave my beard off as it was a bit patchy and singed o_O but it was time for a change anyway.

I may give the cocktails a miss for a bit. Oh, and I found out today that the shots were Gran Marnier and Metaxa. Makes me feel ill just thinking about it. It does explain the flames though, we used to use Metaxa to light the barbecue.

Home tomorrow night, and genuinely looking forward to the cooler temperatures. This thirty odd degrees melarky is OK for a bit, but after a while of full on b4stard roasting day and night it wears a bit thin.
