How long has your carbon trowel lasted before you popped a rivet. Lost Shape. Anyone on here had the same one 20 year

I spread the work between a few sizes though

I’ve got MT carbons and they last years if you look after them.

Think it’s pot luck on the batch that’s been made.
Mine only lasted about 4 years before the front and rear rivets went, gutted because it was lovely to use.
But others that have had them say they’ve lasted double that.

Not a carbon but I’ve got a MT 13x5 stainless I bought in 98 you could shave with it

I got a nela carbon . Prob had it bout 3 4 years but one of rivets has popped. I use my permashape now as it seems to chatter but might be cause I.m not used to handle . Just use it for patching now .







Or if I couldn't be asked to stray its good for a really hard next day trowel
