hi lads whats the best stuff for getting rid of a nik in a trowel?

I use an oil stone but if that's not hand I just wet a piece of thermalite block, it usually does the trick.

thats top. can you get oil stone from bnq? i've got some thermalite on me which is top news .

Should get 1 easy enough from B&Q, might be worth having a look at a diamond block mate.

head to a market oil stones in BQ were expensive and broke well easy!

I always carry wet n dry paper for suc occasions

they make footpaths out of ;D Just splash some water on 'em, 2 mins

i wouldnt dream of throwing a good trowel away they take a long time to break in. i bought a grinding wheel for £20.00 to do my chisels but its great for taking nicks out of trowels i also round off polished plaster trowel corners with it
