Anyone know where I can buy some?

Maybe something like you get with the plazzi's.

Or even better, the ones you get with the Kraft trowels.

we are currently working on a leather trowel holder for various sized trowels Danny if that would be of interest?

or if you liked the plazzi type protectors then we would be more than happy to supply you with some of them as we sell them seperately from the trowels.

Cheers, Harry

Thanks Harry, it was mainly for your s*p*r*lex SS trowel. The plazzi ones don't stay on due to the blade being much thinner.

When will the leather one be on sale, that sounds good.

It might be worth thinking about sending something out with the s*p*r*lex, they are quite fragile really on the edge. Probably even more so once broken in.

Or maybe harry should let you trial the new leather holders DMac..............:RpS_thumbup:

whats the price gonna be for the trowel holders cos im really interested but i need to know if i should apply for a mortgage first, but i am genuinely interested

old lad that thougth me used to get 2 carpet tiles cut them to size, and clamp them together (material sides together ) with a few bits of roofing lathe then put a slit down one side so the trools slide in used to spay wd40 in the middle of them as well so his trools got a coat near enough every time he slide it in,looked daft but seemed to work

Refina used to sell a leather holder a few years ago. Jr hold onto your money for now....trust me.

I use a tool box that both protects my trowels and keeps all my bits and bobs together. Also because each tool has it's own spot in the box I always know if something is missing before I leave for home and can go find it before it mysteriously disappears overnight.

yeah i understand they are fragile, i have dropped a few around the warehouse myself and got into trouble.

i will ask the Peter as soon as he is back how far along we are with the development, however, i have seen a few samples and they look very good, they are made from a thick leather so there would be no chance of damage.

I have mine on a rail in the van with a handboard either side of them. They don't move much and I've never known them being damaged. :-0
