Hi to all on forum

I am looking at purchasing a plastering trowel for skimming any recomendations on size 13" 14"?

Thank you ;)

you cant go wrong with marshalltown but some people prefer tyzac choice is yours my friend i have a 13 does me

13'' marshalltown permashaped trowel is probably best for people who dont do external work, because its all ready shaped for skimming

Size is up to you. It'll take trial and error to get one you like as their are different sorts and handles etc. You can't go wrong with Marshaltown or Tyzack.

i use a 14"marshalltown permashaped ,best thing ever, been plastering for 7 months neally and i bought this from day 1 ;D ;D

Stainless ones wear a little faster than carbon steel but are easy to keep clean and dont rust up on you.
Above 14" and I call em supersize trowels, a bit hard on hand, wrist and elbow for me, now am getting older :-[, about 13" is good size.

Tyzacks are on offer in B&Q, £20 worn in, not a patch on marshalltown though, handle doesnt feel right, its "similar" to durasoft.
