anyone used the pink mesh Wack sell? I use mesh in most of my sand and cement jobs in the scratch so is it good enough cheers also what you paying for your mesh? They want £60 for two rolls including delivery then the dreaded on top

Varies on what system your using, TV 10 is good quality as is webers and enewalls. Usually 40 odd a roll but I'd use that over cheap mesh as there's a lot of inferior Chinese rubbish about that tears and wharps.

I pay 70 from Encon!!
Although just got some from Dbp but I imagine the quality is poor

I like the promesh grade 5 but it costs!

Did a job the other week that had dodgy walls so I meshed the base render with the manufacturers then used some of that heavy mesh of eBay 275 grams I think in the mono. Nice stuff to use and holes are about 6mm but at £65 a roll and only 25 m2 per roll it cost more than Prorends.

But it makes me sleep better at night.

Webers is really nice the parex tv10 is quite stiff so you need a new blade every time or you get spiders legs there 4mm is good

DBP did have a bad patch of mesh a while back but I should have thought they have sold it all by now.

I fell lucky last year, some Pollish sold me some Alumasc and Wetherby mesh for £20 a roll. Got 16 rolls, nice mesh. Reckoned it was left over from an ewi job. Yeah right.

yep they were supplying enewall with it aswell, dreadfull gear. came from china 8 quid a roll and dbp were knocking it out at 30

How come when you cut mesh there is always 1 strand not cut? Frustrating!

I just skipped 2 rolls of that sh1te batch we had on an enewall Ewi job the other week. I won't entertain it.
