Hello Chaps,

Right I wonder if you guys have ever heard of twitter but I have been using it for a long time now to not only market my other sites but also to promote this site.

I have been using tweetdeck to run a search on the term plasterer and it displays every comment with eth word plasterer in it.... no this gets interesting. there are a lot of companies that use Twitter to promote plastering jobs!

I have been seeing a lot of jobs come up over the last few months but not only that you get the general public asking for plasterers.... maybe its something you guys would want to look into?

I don't do any of that social networking stuff. No Facebook, no Myspace, it's all Yank orientated conceited shiite.
 
lol I hate facebook too but it does work really well!

If you told me you were a good spread I would think that every spread thinks they are good... but if 3 other people said you were a good spread... then maybe you are

On social networking sites thats just what it does... works a treat!

I dont really get the idea of twitter.

I can see why celebs use it to boost there profile but why would the general public use it?

Why would anyone be interested in someone that has been backlogging??!!

Just a joke there Danny, but in all seriousness, who reads your twitter?

Yes. Everytime you breathe in and out, you have to post that fact on Twatter. Don't forget to tell everyone you have just scratched your balls too.
 
kebab not a bad van but WHY use that clip art pic of a plasterer! some guy in my local rag has that 2!

Twitter is a powerful marketing tool

I have about 200 followers on mine... I dont post I breath in I breath out ect its all about posting what I am doing in my work day for my personal one. SO if I writing an article I write that. Thats what people are interested in.

When I was travelling my parents and family found it easier to follow me on twittter than face book as they could see exactly what I was dooing.

The plasterers forum is on twitter also but that just sums up posts and whats going on ect.

I see what you mean when it is pointless, but when working in an industry that every is obsessed with then people are actually interested in what i have to say...lol
