Hi. New to the forum and house renovations for that matter. I'm hoping some can help with a few questions. My property has what I believe is a Tyrolean render finish. The previous owners bricked up a back door and rendered the area to a smooth even finish. I want to use a Tyrolean gun to get a similar finish to the surrounding area (or as close as possible). Do I need to apply a scratch coat first and then spray the area with the gun or can I just dampen the area and spray directly. I intend to paint the whole wall after.

Thanks for any help.

Do as you say, dampen the wall leave it for a bit then spray directly onto the render :RpS_thumbup:

Before and after - not bad I thought. Thanks again
