Tyrolean/stipple finish

Evening all,
Just a quick one,
Went to order some tyrolean today (white) used this product a lot over the years.
My supplier offered me a cheaper option of monocouche one coat.
(Excuse my lack of knowledge we don’t deal with the colour through systems at all, it’s all traditional sand cement, lime etc)

It came out half the price of cullamix tyrolean.
Can you use the new one coat products as a stipple finish like tyrolean?
Apparently a lot of other spreads use it.

Its a heavier tyrolean. Not a fine as tyrolean itself.

I have used it a few times through a flicker, it works quite well. Just have a play first on some old board.

You can get a good tight finish with it using a hopper gun
