Skimed a wall to day 1 wall it was going shite went over with sponge float then trowel looked spot on well use again

On the odd occasion your posts are less stressed , was wondering why , is it because your gardening tomorrow or is it because your not plastering , is it a job or your own garden

Plastering is a strange game and often the most successful are in it for the money and choose their work carefully , if your up against the wall financially your going to stay in panic mode and make the wrong choices , no matter how much you try and plastering is a difficult job , not like other trades. You have to commit to a certain amount of coverage and there's no going back. Not enough , you don't make it pay . too much and you end up depressed at the quality and it becomes hard work physically and more importantly mentally . gardening is very therapeutic , you can also stop when you want. I'm not saying give up the plastering but perhaps your just out of control , why not do more work ,say perhaps dry lining , you would skim as well, having two advantages, longer jobs and the variety of the daily routine
