cheers lads bg do you think an s reg one of these will have a few more years in them yet?............just out of interest i did some insurance quotes mine was 245 with 6 points fully comp ....then i added my lab 19 just passed the cheapest was 585 and the aa wanted 3140 quid third party fire and theft ;D
skimming today im not a hoodlum ill have one know ;D
 
Mechanic told me the engine were great on this model cause there was no turbo fitted made the van a little sluggish under acceleration ion but will cruise at top speed all day long , his words not mine.

If theres no turbo itll be heavier on the juice i think.

I think its the other way around mate.

Adding a turbo is a lighter weight answer to a bigger engine...........but I'm not sure really.

I suppose thats why were in a plastering forum rather than a mechanics forum ;D
 
my mates got a hiace for sale spunks, he wants around £800. i think its x reg, 165k. wants 1 or 2 bits doing to it but toyotas run forever, and you can get 8x4s in them.
 
passenger window is about an inch from closing. think it might have just come off the rail. dent in the rear door. thats about it i think. if you want me to i'll get him to email you some pics and a price??
