venitian trowel

[S a plastering]

been given a marble trowel today the one that narrows at the end its about 9 inch long but as i will never be doing any of that would it be ok for normal like patch skimming as anyone used one on gypsum it seems a shame to sling it cos lookin at it would make a good patching trowel the size of it cheers
