wall for marble tiles

got a job on. the wall is down to the brick and hes having mable tiles on the walls and they are heavy is it best to use backing plaster or could i use plasterboard which could be to heavy when all the tiles are on the wall.which is best guys.cheers

Plaster board should be ok or use aquqpanel. Use a good adhesive(bal)
