Finally got round to plastering my own kitchen after the wifes been ear bashing me for months. so left the skimming top notch, then whats she do gos and wallpapers the main wall could of cried :'( all this because she seen it on that 60 min makeover what a load of s##te that is.

;D ;D ;D I reskimmed a lounge and diner years ago and when i finished the bloke said to me it will look nice once i paper it the thing was there was nothing wrong with the walls before i plastered them plus i had to tell him it was just cosmetic as the walls were just pva'ed and if he stripped the paper in years to come it will pull the skim off i though he just wanted to paint it.

About six year ago i built a dwarf wall and a 5 foot wall and constructed a conservastory base for a guy in brick.
once i finished he asked me if once the glass work had been finished if id come back and plaster it.
i told him he could of saved £500 if he dome it in block and not brick if he gonna plaster it.......he nearly collapsed.

the wall was already papered.... but she didnt like it.
