bin working today and yesterday plastering big kitchen diner

priced a while back, turned up and straight away thought blimey, theres a lot of board cuts.

so i asked him, did u tack this, to which he said yes. i had a look over it and the walls where proper bouncy, like u could push them an inch bouncy

so i said, u gotta re do this. so he then takes off bout 30m of board, to which i can then see there is literally 2 batons per board, and none of the boards where cut to fit the wood. he then spends the rest of the day redoing it. then when hes done i had a another look and it was still the same. we agreed id just skim it and he would have to deal with any after problems.

then hes up on a ladder filling in holes with multi and a scraper, knocking it up in a saucepan. it goes hard so he gets out another 1 and does the same. nice stainless saucepans. i said i thought his bucket was a bit too posh for multi, and did he wanna use one of mine, which he refused. the wife then comes in and goes completly nuts that he knackered the saucepans and the walls.

nice bloke tho, just a complete loon

gotta love people like that. my mate scratch coated the front of his house before another lad dashed it (dunno why) and his dad was exactly the same. bloke was loopy

these people are a nightmare they just make the job harder, once you have slimmed the walls and they crack and the screws pop, the neighbour will be around and say 'who did the plastering'? who do you think will get the blame?

i no mate. only reason i did it and was patient with him is coz he knows the fella who runs the woburn estate where i live. very posh, we have a duke dont u no. theyre putting up 200 houses this yr so im trying to make friends

Dont really matter about the 200 houses mate as if it cracks before then you wont see any of them.

yeah i know but it was discussed and agreed first that it was done crap and might crack. he said it was fine. there was units going infront of most of it anyway.

we had to do some other stuff like a freehand arch over a double door with vaulted ceiling and he was well chuffed with that

He's probably one of those people who hasn't got a clue. Got a load of abuse from his missus to do the work. Knew when he had finisher his work it looked awful. Then was made up you pulled him out the s**t for making a decent job of it!
