Sorry to mis lead.
Just wanting tips to skim with out water to finish . I.m down to a tiny bit but want to be free from going to bucket . Is trick getting on it when its just that bit softer.

Just flatten with MT then twice more using a mediflex only wetting the blade.

More than one way to skin a cat but that way works for me.

I just use nella carbon . Last few days i.vr used very little but hit it a touch sooner and its come up sweet as

None at all? What about brushing your edges in?

Quick flatten straight after laying second coat on clean your bucket wet the edges in keep the trowel wet flatten the same again cross trowel wetting edges works a treat.

I never use water , unless its bonding or hardwall,never for plasterboard!

How funny would that be . Building work cancelled cause of water shortage .
Gave a swelter next week as well.
Once did a house for a pikey . When he turnex up and we asked where water was . He said aint we fetched any. He went knocking street up to see if he could fill barrels up with there outside tap lol.
We ran out one day and he wasnt there to fetch some so we got it out footings of next plot lol

Went well. Was on them emulsion walls that still seem to set quick with 2 coats of pva as well. I know you cant tell f**k all from photos but defo prefering no water at min
