I was chatting with the secretary of our local football club (Workington F.C.) pre season and he was telling me about this. They've took most of his best players, trebling their wages and decent length contracts which he reckoned is unheard of at that level.

Best of luck to them. I used to go and watch a few teams that play in that league years ago cos 2 of me nephews played for Jarrow roofing, They were getting 80 a game in the early nineties which was canny then.
