water pump broke

Pump just stopped suddenly and when made a slight noise first as if it was trying but now there is nothing.

Anyone ever had to get their pump fixed?

I wondered if there is a common thing or is it just gonna be binned

Got a delivery coming from L&D tomorrow and its due to go back with the courier for inspection.

Just wondered if it could be the capacitor as nothing else really i can think of on a solid thing like the pedrollo

Yep same happened to my pedrollo. (they're all pedrollo pumps btw, Pft, machine mart etc). Got a bit carried away and went for the av3000 instead. Too big n bulky for me, much preferred the little pump tucked under the back of the machine, much lighter too. Got the av3 now which is nice and small except it has a carry handle and neat brass inlet/outlet body. All that said though I did wonder if a tool fixing place could have fixed the broken pump by replacing a component inside the cover. Like you say they're solid things with brass impellers, only the electrics can fry really?

the capacitor is inside the top box so easy to do and looks like the only diy changeable part.
