Morning chaps

Feel free to tear me a new ar*ehole...
Attempting my first bit of rendering this week. Will probably be an absolute disaster but god loves a trier.

The most ridiculous question I have is the dilution ratio of the additive.
Using Everbuild Integral Waterproofer, the manufacturer says:

In all cases, add to gauging water at an addition rate of
0.5 to 1 litre per 100 kg cement, or alternatively, one
part EVERBUILD® 202 Integral Liquid Waterproofer to
20 to 40 parts water and mix until fully dispersed, then
add to mix. Gauge the mix as stiff as possible to min-
imise risk of cracking

Am I along the lines, that to achieve this gauge, I'll put a cup (350-400ml) of overbuild per 12L bucket of water?

Presumably you are mixing by hand or mini mixer? I used levelled off buckets of sand and cement and I got two buckets of cement to a bag. A bag is 25kg so 8 buckets to 100kg.

Divide 1000ml by 8 is 125ml per bucket of cement.

A baby bottle is 250ml with a gauge so use a baby bottle to gauge your mixes.

Knocking it up with a paddle mixer.

I’m fully onboard with your measurements (appreciated)!!
Was under the assumption I could have a 12L bucket of water with the additive, so regardless of the amount of sand/cement I knock up there would be the correct amount overall.

I must’ve taken a stupid pill this morning.
Cheers for the help fella

Keep stirring it. Leave it overnight and it sinks to the bottom.

say again?

i got four level shovels to a small gorilla tub 2 tubs to a bag
multiply baby bottle by 4 equals 1000ml.
quarter of a regular ben and jerry ice cream tub is a bit too much ,tip a bit out and bang on.
