waterproofer

alright lads, wondering which waterproofer products would be best to use that is available local prior to pebble dashing. builders yards local to me are huws grey, jewsons, wickes, b&q, travis perkins, wirrel builders, thanks for any advise ???

Not used waterproofers for ages but we used to use Freeflo by cementone

Cementone is good also Everbuild 3in1, don't use Sika concentrate it's sh*te

Use Sika all the time no probs, didnt realise besty has only been in the game for twenty years.

Yea I use cementone plasticiser and waterproofer, good stuff...wickes same stuff its a 1/3 of the price...used it the other day, not bad stuff.

so cementone is the stuff then and it controls the suction in the scratch coat good nearly forgot do i need waterproofer and plasterciser interg or just waterproofer only?

Freeflow and Everbuild 3in1 are both waterproffer and plasticiser, Everbuild is also a retarder, I've used the Everbuild for about 4 years now and never had any problems.

U need both m8...the cementone is a mix of both check bottle should say waterproofer and plasticiser. I did a mix once without plasticiser...never again!

Don't take it for granted that whatever product you use will definitely waterproof your scratch coat, a lot will depend on what type of blocks or bricks you're working on.
