My client would like a floated render look to his weber. I have had a look and they recommend ocr for this but a guy on site was saying he uses weber pral and floats it up with a sponge and plastic trowel.
has anyone heared or done this themselves?
Thanks

If it going to be painted then a coloured render is a waste of money but also I doubt you would get a finish as good as ocr will give.

The building surveyor insisted that we use pral because it is the most breathable, now after the delivery of 80+ bags he said he wants the same effect as lime render.
I dont know if you can close it up or not and I agree with you it is a waste of money for coloured. Nightmare job really he made me knock all of my dubbing out off as well and would only just accept rend aid. He should have said he wanted K lime in his spec.
The supplier wont exchange the pral for ocr either so I am stuck with it, the builder who is paying for the materials is pulling his hair out as well because he has instructed me to get pral.
Just trying to help the guy out because if I can, he is a good guy and always looked after me.
