please could anyone tell me the price of weber ocr and how many metres a bag covers many thanks

Yep sorry ,, i should pay more attention to the details :-[ :-[ at least he got a price for ocr and mono now ;D ;D

ocr from keelsupply or any other manufacturers bagged render from the likes of encon but depends on where you live i recon

Recently set up an account with CPI and i can get there ocr at Just under £3.50 a bag , min pallet order, or try encon as suggested , also L&D at Rotherham are always willing to help and competitive on most products ;)

ocr comes in handy too as a cheaper first coat in mono work when hand applying. Not tried it myself though.

i think cpi s good gear if a little grittier than weber, rather use it rubs up easier , also their high bond is better than rendaid imo

with the likes of ocr weber and cpi if its going onto old brickwork that i am taking the old gear off,is there any need to rake out the joints or just rendaid

no need to rake the joints if you use rend aid first but if it has been rendered before and you are taking of the old render you dont need rend aid first if the background is brick or block (actually it depends with some brick) there should be a reasonable ammount of adhesion there to just hit it with the ocr.

lord and downings baserend was about £8 per 30kg bag as far as i remember.

really nice gear to use, but dont run out of gloves, it burns pretty bad

if your taking old render off and its brickwork there no need to rake joints out but i would always pre rend for a good key and to control suction i would also fully mesh .cant do no more!
