Im starting some rendering this week on a extension with some oldish (white) weber PRAL M.
The problem is its over celcon blocks one side will be 2 coat s/c and the front as you look from the bottom of the garden will be mono.
the builder wants to use steel beads as that's what he got on site and don't want to pay out for more.
anyway soo that means it will have a 10mm finish after its scraped.
im planning on putting a full mesh bed in the first pass of mono.
what about some sort of primer over the celcons first.
i tend to just wet the blocks with a hose if im S/C rendering
iv got PVA cement SBR water proofer plastering sand on site
sbr over the blocks?
sbr slurry over the blocks?
s/c scratch coat with a dash of water proofer in the mix ?
we the blocks with a hose ?
or just go over the blocks with no primer or wetting?
