Hello Fellas

Just wondering if any of you could give me a reason for something weird I came across the other day.

Its not really a plastering question but I came across it while quoting for a reskim.

I just wanted to know if there is a reason for this, was it common, or is there a name for it.

Upstairs in an old terraced house you go in to a bedroom and part of the bedroom overlaps next doors.

So part of your bedroom is above their lounge and it continues like this through the whole street.

The wall that devides your bedroom and next doors is not solid.

If a rad leeks and goes through the ceiling, it goes into next doors lounge.

This to me seems very weird but the owner of the house said he has seen the plans and was not winding me up.

Can anyone shed some light for me please.

none solid walls between neighbour's, that a be interesting if your on the job ;D ;D ;D

wonder what the insurance company says about it , a fire would rip through the lot.

I think it is called a floating freehold it;s more common down south than up north ;) cos your all weird fukkkkkerreeersss ;D ;D
