Good evening one and all.

Most of my work is interior stuff, floating and setting walls and ceilings and small bit of rendering in the summer.
So the extent of product knowledge really only goes as far as bonding, hardwall and multi!

Ive been asked to float out a small stand alone breeze block built building which is sited inside a warehouse and contains a toilet and sink basin for the staff.

The previous tenants of this unit used a forklift inside and have gauged and chipped section of the block away (its still structurally sound) and the landlord basically wants the outside of it tidied up so it can be painted and look more presentable, but has asked for it be as hard wearing as possible and is not looking for smooth skim finish, so i wont be top coating, he's happy with a masonry look.

What product would you guys recommend for this?

Ive never used tough coat plaster? Or Dri-coat plaster seen as its cement based?

Any help or thoughts on this is greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

Dan

My opinion is sand and cement , give it a weak coat of sbr 5/1 or less then apply render no stronger than 6/1 you can add sbr in the water for strength

Yeah John don't forget your scud!
