Currently got a Citroen dispatch and hate it. Don't generally carry much 8ft board so don't really need a big van

Whats the consensus? Looking for reliability and cost of ownership, don't care about badge.

Toyota hiace or what ever its called they r reliable , good van if ur not arsed about big boards although they may still go in ? Dont really no wud be a squeeze though

Vauxhall vivaros/ renault traffics are a decent van ive given up on fords they rust like fook and all the pumps on them are made of chocolate.

Use to have a hiace can get 6x3 in no probs bit tight with 8x4.. very reliable van.. although the non turbo ones are a bit thirsty on juice if u carry alot of gear..

Since having a swb transit I think I'd struggle having anything smaller. It's an ex British gas van kept half the racking for tools and fixings can get about 5 8x4s in the back on the angle with hop ups and that if you need to.

I Know a joiner who has the caddy max and they are a good van plus on the max model you can get 8x4's in the back
I was looking at them and nearly bought one but opted for a bigger van in the end, don't know why think I like being up high

Steer well clear of anything mid engined like the nissan vanette or its ilk, hateful little vans and a nightmare to work on.
