Where can I buy Knauf Finishing Plaster?

U fellas know of any stockists of (Hand applied) Knauf finishing plaster? I've been to all of the chain stores (B&Q, TP, LBS, etc..) but only found it in pricey Focus!

I rang Knauf and they told me of a Builders Merchant that they supplied. (He had never stocked it!).

Any places that stock it in North Oxfordshire and along the A40 to West Wales is good for me! Someone said that u could get it in Wickes, but the store in Oxford didn't have it.

ccf stock it they are a part of travis perkins so if you ask them they can sort it for you

Can you remember bg were on strike(about 9-10 year ago) and all you could get was knauf?

Dont use it mate my gaffer told us today thats what were using from now on its like skimming dri-wall its horrid!!

it aint its good gear i love it you can get mountains on and it trowels up well

I aint seen it once its painted i dont think it leaves anywhere near a good finish like multi or boardy!!!

i love the gear, you can put a laod more on and its trowels like a dream. that was not what we were using when the strike was on, that was french crap.

thats what i meant too....ive only used it a few times tho....suppose its what u get used too..as for the french c**ts..they need to sort out their lafarge boards, and get them to stick the frikin paper to em properly, always seem to bubble and paper comes away recently...maybe its the storage at my local building suppliers ....feck knows

Are we on about the same thing i have been using mpfinish it says on the bag spray it on but gaffer says hand apply it dont make no difference overskimmed a ceiling with it 2day horrid dont like the stuff!

First time i used it i was laying on a room and thought this stuff aint too bad as it stayed wet for ages so decided to put a couple more bags on then all of a sudden it all started going off with out warning i was scrabbling all over the place it didnt turn out too bad but it was hard work once i got used to it it was fine but still prefer bg.
