Do you men not use feather edges for dabbing?
I bought 3 for a tenner the other day and got home and noticed the 'A' missing off the lettering down the side! :RpS_crying:About time I got a new straight edge! Just got a triple pack of stabilla levels for £25 off the back of a lorry wether they are genuine who knows but £25 can't be bad..
had my straight edge for about 8 years who knows if its straight anymore..

How do you know when it's plumb, do you have a level taped to it?
Without stating the obvious whats the difference between the faithful feather edge and the Faithful feather edge fine edge ??
What i mean is, Is there much difference between the two ? what does the fine edge do that the normal doesn't ?

I just keep checking with a spirit level.
I always thought that banging a level put it off of accuracy somehow.

Probably the sharpness of the point. I've some edges before that were really quite rounded at the point.....not ideal.

Thats what i would rekon. I have one of these and it does have a round edge not sure it will be much good for ruling off but a good sturdy thing for dotting
