hacked off the cement render ,the wooden lintel had rotted

replaced with concrete one..new window,

the worst thing was finding exp metal with render 6" thick in places where it was already rotten 25 years ago...(last time it was rendered )

henry
all done and scratched...on finish coat..

house is from 1700s

also had loose stone to relay ...replaced knackered pointing

this is a typical job for us ...start with hacking off rendering and find all sorts of
problems ,but does make the work varied

So did you use lime base render

prebagged coloured lime render finish...most customers choose off white ,light shade of cream saves painting with 4-5 coats of limewash ,still a traditional product ..
